Swachch Bharat Abhiyan – Campus cleaned by the NSS volunteers – 19.11.2022
On 19.11.2022, Swachch Bharat Abhiyan was conducted by Dr. M.Sasikala, NSS Programme Officer (Unit 1) at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal. All the NSS volunteers cleaned the entire college campus and collected all the litter in big bags for disposal.
Dr. M. Sasikala explained the drawbacks of plastic usage, significance of tree plantation, importance of rain water harvesting and student’s role for protection of the natural environment. Mrs. S. Jayamathi, NSS Programme Officer (Unit 2) highlighted the objectives of Swachch Bharat Abhiyan. Nearly 50 volunteers of NSS took part in that Swachch Bharat Abhiyan.
