Workshop on pattern making & designing of men’s apparel:-
The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized a one day workshop entitled “Pattern making and designing of men’s apparel” on 17th February 2023 in the laboratory of CDF.
Mr. S. Kumar, New Classic Designer, Domain Skill Trainer, Undertaken Training at Rural Self – Employment Training Institute (RSET’s), Namakkal was the invited speaker.
He elucidated the various concepts of pattern making of men’s apparel like slack shirt, full sleeve shirt, men’s pant, pleated trouser, kurta & pyjama, single breasted vest, cutting of pattern making, procedures of stitching and its techniques and fundamental pattern process.
Dr M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of the College presided over the workshop. Mrs. K. Punitha, HOD & Assistant Professor in CDF welcomed the gathering. Ms. K.P. Theepika, Assistant Professor in CDF proposed the vote of thanks.
Mrs. B. Kavitha & Mrs. A.P. Pavithra, Faculty of CDF also took part.
