Workshop on “Basic Makeup and Bridal Makeover”
The Department of Costume Design and Fashion in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Institution’s Innovation Council and Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized a one day workshop entitled “Basic Makeup and Bridal Makeover” on 07th March 2023.. Mrs. M. Priyadharshini, Makeup Artist & Costume Designer, Noor Bridal Studio, Unisex Saloon & Makeover Palace, Coimbatore was the invited speaker. She explained the various essential basic and bridal makeup like bleaching, eyebrow shaping, skincare & hygiene, advanced facials, clean-ups, skin treatment, bridal/party makeup, styling, waxing, threading, HD makeup for photography, filmography & fashion, makeup techniques & consultation, skin tones techniques, airbrush techniques for flawless looks, client management and so on.
Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director presided over the workshop. Mrs. K. Punitha, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of CDF and the faculty members of the department Ms. K.P. Theepika, Mrs. B. Kavitha and Mrs. A.P. Pavithra also took part.
Nearly 150 students benefited through this workshop.
