Industrial and Field visit of Physics StudentsThe Department of Physics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized a one day industrial visit to Kudankulam Nuclear Plant, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District on 23rd March 2023. The students of Physics (Both UG and PG) recognized the concepts and ideas of electrical energy generation and transmission. They also visited the turbine unit, generator unit and generating side transformers. This visit gave more details about the kinds of nuclear reactors and sets of generators used for generating electricity. Apart from that, they also went to Kanyakumari and they saw the Vivekanandar Rock and Thiruvalluvar Statue. 50 students of Physics along with the faculty members of Physics Dr. B. Lakshmi, Mrs. S. Mohanapriya, Mrs. V. Kalaivani and Ms. K. Sarnya took part in that industrial and field visit.
