Awareness Programme on Civil Service Examinations
The Placement Cell of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal in association with Sankara Civic Academy, Namakkal organized an awareness programme on “ (சிகரம் தொடு) – Touch the Peak – An interactive conclave for the civil service aspirants in the date of 28th March 2023. It was held in the Trinity Auditorium.
Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director of the College presided over the programme. Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal welcomed the gathering. All the special invitees were introduced by Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic of the College. The topic of the programme was “Civil service is the key to modern Indian aspirations”.
Mrs. S. Rajeswari, IPS, DIG of Police, Salem Range, Mr. B. Sathishchandran, The Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service”, Deputy Director of Ministry of Defence and Mr. P. Dinesh, Senior Faculty, Sankara Civix Academy, Namakkal were the special invitees.
They gave awareness among students about the civil services examinations of Indian Administrative Services, Indian Police Services and Indian Forest Services. They clearly described the UPSC Examination structure and various stages of examinations which includes Preliminary, Main and Final Interview. Also, they guided the students regarding registration of examinations and how to prepare and clear the test and also personal interview. They suggested the students focus on current affairs, newspaper and journals reading regularly.

Rajesh, Joint Director of Sankara Civix Academy, Namakkal, The Placement Cell Officer Dr. B. Lakshmi, the members of Placement Cell Dr. C. Gobiya, Dr. R. Suba, Dr. Lalitha Easwaran, Mrs. S. Mohanapriya, Mrs. P. Karthikeyani, Mrs.V. Abhirami, Ms. M. Rekha and Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar also participated in that programme.
More than 1200 students took part.
