Career guidance programme for undergraduate Commerce students
The Research & Post Graduate Department of Commerce, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a powwow programme under the title of “Works of Life – Afterwards undergraduate Commerce” on 08.05.2023. It was held in the ICT hall of the Commerce Department.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the dab hand.
Only a few female students are pursued on Ph.D. research courses. At present, a Ph.D. is mandatory for working in renowned colleges and universities in India. After completion of a Ph.D. degree, if students pass the lectureship examinations of UGC-NET, CSIR OR TNSET, you will immediately get employment in reputed colleges, he said. Also, he spoke about the opportunities in higher education and employment in various fields, including teaching, trade and other service sectors. More or less 100 final year students of B.Com., and M.Com., took part.
