World Skill Competition –(2024) – Lyon, France
On account of world skill competition 2024 (உலகளாவிய திறன் போட்டிகள்), a discussion meeting was held on 04th July 2023 in the premises of Collector Office, Namakkal. On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Dr. B. Vishnupriya, Assistant Professor in Tamil & Programme Coordinator, Naan Mudhalvan Scheme attended that meeting.
Mr. S. Prabhakar, Special Deputy Collector (Social Security Scheme), Namakkal District was the special invitee. He advised that more students from our Namakkal district should participate in this work skill competition in 2024. As the teacher of your institution, you should encourage all the students to partake in this international event enthusiastically, he denoted.
Mr. P.Parthiban, Deputy Director, District Skill Development Training Office, 3/179, Rama Vilas Garden, Mohanur Road, Kondichettipatti, Periyapatti Post, Namakkal highlighted the objectives of the meeting.
The 47th World Skill competition will take place in Lyon city, France from 10th September 2024 to 15th September 2024. In this international level competition, more or less 1500 young skills professionals from 60 countries will take part. We motivate our students from Tamil Nadu to participate in this international event. In particular, we have to select talented young students for 55 skilled programmes, also he pointed out.
