Career guidance Programme
A career guidance programme called “Learn for betterment” (உயர்வுக்குப் படி) conducted under the scheme of Naan Mudhalvan on 26.06.2023 in the premises of Government Medical College, Namakkal.
Mrs. P. Maheswari, Chief Educational Officer, Namakkal welcomed the gathering.
Dr. S. Uma, District Collector, Namakkal, presided over the programme.
Mr. M.G. Saravanan, District Revenue Officer, Namakkal, Mrs. P.M. Sheela, District Employment Officer, Namakkal, Mrs. P.K. Geetha, District Social Welfare Officer, Namakkal, Mrs. Suganthi, District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer, Namakkal, Mr. S. Satheeshkumar, District Child Protection Officer, Namakkal, Mrs. M. Priya, Planning Director, Women Development, Namakkal, Mr. S. Prabhakar, Deputy Collector (Social Security Scheme), Dr. K. Santha Arulmozhi, Dean, Government Medical College and Hospital, Namakkal and other government officials took part.
The various government welfare schemes like the importance of higher education, entrepreneurship, getting bank loans and other availability of various government schemes related to higher education and self-employment schemes have been explained by the subject experts.

Muthukrishnan & Mr. Vedharaja Paksan, Senior Faculty, DIET (District Institute for Education and Training), Namakkal, highlighted the various resources available in the industrial sector.
