Awareness Programme on ‘Android Mobile Phones and Cyber Crimes”

Mrs. A. Vijayasarathi, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal advised students of the College,   not to use android mobiles at all times.    The Trinity Women’s Forum, in association with the National Service Scheme, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized an awareness event under the title of “Android Mobile Phones and  Cyber Crimes” on 17th July 2023 in the ICT Hall of the Department of Computer Science.  

        Participating in the programme, Mrs. A.Vijayasarathi said cybercrimes had risen in recent years across the country.   Students should run away sharing their photographs on social media like Facebook, Twitter, instagram, whatsapp, YouTube and so on.     Unnecessary and irrelevant use of Android Touch Screens on mobile phones would cause many problems.  Students should use mobile phones carefully, she noted. 

 Dr. M. Sasikala, NSS Programme Officer, (Unit 1), Trinity College for Women  demonstrated what the effects will be generated for our young generations due to the usage of android touch screen mobile phones.   More or less 100 students took part in that awareness event.
