Programme on Interview Skills and Employability Skills
On behalf of the Placement Cell, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, and Institution’s Innovation Council, and in association with the GTT Foundation and with the support of BARCLAYS, Chennai conducted a 3-day soft skills programme entitled “Interview Skills and Employability Skills” from July 24 to July 26, 2023. Mr. Kathiresan Perumal, Corporate trainer, and Ms. Siva Keerthana, Softskill Trainer, GTT Foundation, Pune, Maharashtra, were the resource persons. Both interview skills and employability skills are integral and basic parts of most job roles in the economy today. The phenomenon is that a huge section of the educated youth possess limited or no job skills; we have to update our subject skills as well as soft skills for our continuous growth, they pointed out.
Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal and Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic, talked about the importance of soft skills.
