Tree Plantation Programme at the Adopted Village of NSS, Ladduvadi
A tree plantation programme was organised in Laddivadi (an adopted village of the National Service Scheme of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal) on August 4, 2023, under the service club of the National Service Scheme. Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director of the College, planted the first sapling, followed by Dr. M. Malliga Kulandaivel, President, Women Empowerment Standing Committee, Indian Medical Association, Tamil Nadu state, and the Director of Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director-Academic, Mrs. Padmavathi Jagadeesan, Member of Inner Wheel Club, Namakkal, The NSS Programme Officers (Dr. M. Sasikala and Mrs. S Jayamathi) and the NSS student volunteers planting the rest of the trees in and around the Laddivadi village. Finally, all the participants in these events visited Nambikkai Illam House, where they planted some trees.
