Collection of palm seed
On behalf of the National Service Scheme, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, collected more than 150 palm seeds through the students of the college on 14th September 2023. All the collected palm seeds were packed and forwarded to Mr. M. Viswanathan, 2/145, Melmankundu, Mankundu Post, Uchipuli Via, Ramanathapuram Taluk & District, Tamil Nadu. Owing to the planting of palm seeds in the seashores of the coastline districts like Chennai, Thiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudukkottai, Ramanathapuram, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, and Kanyakumari (1076 km radius) in Tamil Nadu state.
These works have been executed by the NSS Cell of the College. Mrs. S. Jayamathi and Dr. M. Sasikala, NSS Programme Officers, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, made arrangements.
