Quiz programme on “National Mathematics Day”
The Quiz Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal has observed the National Mathematics Day on December 22, 2023 in honour of Mathematical Genius Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920). On this subject, the quiz competition in Mathematics had been conducted to bring awareness about the contribution of Mathematician Ramanujan and to encourage critical thinkinging among students.
The title of the Quiz Programme – “A man who knew infinity”.
Students’ participants express their gratitude that the programme was highly exciting and interesting. Dr. S. Revathy, Assistant Professor in Mathematics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the quiz master. The teams of quiz Tangent Titans, Geometry Giants, Integral Innovation and Radical Raiders participated.
The Quiz Club Co-ordinators Dr. A. Latha and Mrs. P. Karthikeyani made arrangements.
The team of Radical Raiders obtained the first prize and the Geometry Giants got the second prize.
