One-day industrial visit for students of Chemistry
Industrial visits are part of the curriculum in educational institutions. Industrial visits are arranged by our Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, every year for students with the aim of providing an opportunity to explore different sectors like manufacturing, production, information technology, finance, marketing, and so on. This type of industrial visit will be helpful for the students both theoretically and practically. The 43 students of chemistry (both undergraduate chemistry and postgraduate chemistry), along with 6 faculty members, went to Kochi, Kerala, on February 17, 2024.
They have seen the shipbuilding, ship repair, general engineering, and general services at Blue Shipyard Ltd., Kochi, Kerala State.
Apart from that, they have viewed the Chottanikara Bhagavathi Amman Temple, Kochi Boat House, Vypin Beach, and Lulu Mall in Ernakulam.
The faculty of chemistry at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Dr. N. Santhi, Mrs. V. Indirakumari, Dr. S. Anidha, Dr. S. Kalaivani, Ms. M. Rineesha, and Mrs. G. Mahesh were the caretakers.
