Observation of National Science Day

          The Department of Chemistry, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal celebrated the National Science Day on 28^th February 2024 in the laboratory of Chemistry. The theme of the National Science Day  – Science for a sustainable future.   Various events like Chem Rangoli, Chem Art from Waste, Chem Poem, Chem Retrieve & Fan Game were held.    Dr R. Ramachandran, Assistant Professor in Chemistry, PGP College of Arts and Science, Namakkal was the special guest.  He delivered the topic entitled “Chemistry in sustainable life” on that day.   He spoke elaborately on the grave dangers of harmful components and their adverse effects on the environment and human health.   Also, he highlighted the green chemistry for our environment and protection.   This programme was organized by the faculty of Chemistry Mrs. N. Thangamani, Mrs. V. Indirakumari, Dr. N. Santhi, Dr. S.Anidha, Dr. S. Kalaivani, Ms. M. Rineesha and Mrs. G. Magesh.
