Students of Tamil, participation in the international conference
The Department of Tamil, Government Arts and Science College, Thethukkadu, Sendamangalam, Namakkal District, conducted a one-day international conference entitled “Sanga Thamizh Culture” on March 15, 2024, in the seminar hall of the college. Dr. T. Barathi, Principal, Government Arts and Science College, Sendamangalam, presided over the conference.
Mrs. G. Kalaiyarasi, Head, Department of Tamil, welcomed the gathering. Prof. Dr. C. Thiyagarajan, Registrar (I/c), Professor, and Head, Department of Scientific Tamil, Tamil University, Thanjavur, was the chief guest. Dr. T. Rukmani, Assistant Professor in Tamil at Muthurangam Government Arts College (Autonomous), Vellore, was the special invitee. Mr. M. Thenmozhi, Guest Lecturer, Government Arts and Science College, Sendamangalam, proposed the vote of thanks.
Dr. M. Jamuna, Dr.A. Mohana, and Mrs. N. Poongothai also took part. On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, the following students and faculty of Tamil have actively taken part and presented their research articles in that international conference.
