Awareness Program on “Water Conservation”
Under the auspices of Quiz Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized an awareness program titled “Harvesting water is better than wasting water” on March 22, 2024, in the ICT Hall, Science Block of the College.
Ms. B. Vishalini and Ms. S. Dharani, third-year B.Sc., Mathematics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, spoke on the significance of water management. They highlighted the various subjects of water conservation like water management, climate change, drinking water, waste water cycling, ground water, irrigation, agriculture, floods, droughts, water quality, storm water, environmental protection, usage of plastics, conservancy of water, acid raining, drip irrigation, etc.
This program was conducted by the quiz club coordinators, Dr. A. Latha and Mrs. P. Karthikeyani, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal.
