Road Safety Awareness Programme
On behalf of the Road Safety Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted an awareness program entitled “Safety First, Speed Second” (முதலில் பாதுகாப்பு …. இரண்டாவது வேகம்) on April 4, 2024, in the college premises.
Mrs. L. Deepika, Assistant Professor in English and Coordinator, Road Safety Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, was the resource person. As per the reports, approximately in India, nearly 2 lakh people die every year from road accidents. Road accidents are completely avoidable if we follow the rules and regulations of road safety, she said.
More or less, 100 students benefited from this program.
