Distribution of deworming tablets
Under the UBA Cell (C9496), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal arranged a program titled “Supply of Deworming Tablets” (Albendazole) to the public of Tholur village, Mohanur Block, Namakkal district. This program was started in Keezh Tholur village on 13th April 2024. Mrs. D. Prabha, Assistant Professor in Computer Science and UBA Cell Village Representative of Tholur village, and her team members (students of the college) visited various houses in these village areas, met the people, and distributed the deworming tablets to them.
Mrs. D. Prabha emphasized the significant hygienic practices to be adopted and regular deworming for the better growth of people. Also, she highlighted the symptoms of worm infestation and the importance of eating Albendozone tablets for the prevention of stomach worms.
