Naan Mudhalvan Sensitization Programme
Under Naan Mudhalvan, Periyar University, Salem conducted a one-day sensitization and review meeting for the odd semester (2024-2025) on 03rd July 2024. It was held in the seminar hall, Department of Computer Science, on the university campus.
Dr. P. Thirumoorthy, Professor in Management Studies, PRIMS, Periyar University, Salem, welcomed the gathering. Dr. S. Kadhiravan, Controller of Examination, Periyar University, Salem, and Dr. K. Jayaraman, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics, Periyar University, Salem, were the chief guests.
Mr. M. Vinoth, Programme Manager, Tamil Nadu Skill Development Organization, Chennai, was the special invitee. He elaborately explained the conduct of the Naan Mudhalvan courses, like reskilling English communication, digital skills, the foundation of coding using Python, cyber security, sales and marketing, graphic design and multimedia, medical coding, good manufacturing practices (quality assurance), advanced tally with GST, food analysis, food processing and preservation methods, digital marketing, and drone pilot techniques. Also, he highlighted the implementation of Naan Mudhalvan courses and the roles and responsibilities of college principals, spocs, and faculty coordinators.
