Entrepreneurship Development Awareness Program

On behalf of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, in association with the Periyar University Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Programme (PU-HEDP-HUB), an awareness program titled “Unleashing Innovation: The Path to Successful Entrepreneurship” was conducted on July 26, 2024.

            The main aim of this program is to motivate the students on various aspects of entrepreneurship development that would motivate them to participate in entrepreneurial qualities after their graduation.

            The program started with a welcome address by Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of the college.  Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director of the College, presided over the program.  Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Coordinator, Silver Jubilee Celebrations Committee, offered the felicitation address.

Mr. G. Vasudevan, District Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Namakkal District was the special invitee. Today, our society needs entrepreneurs who create jobs. Unfortunately, in India, in comparison with job creators, the number of job seekers is very high. It will be changed. Each and every student should start the start-up activities for creating an entrepreneurship, he denoted. Also, he gave an introduction to the role of the EDII (Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India) for creating new entrepreneurs. 

Dr. M. Sasikala, AP & HOD of Commerce, Mrs. G. Nithya, Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, and the members of EDC, Mrs. V. Indirakumari, Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi, Dr. S. Revathy, Mrs. K. Padmavathi, Ms. R. Mithuna, and Mrs. R. Vanitha, Dr G. Sathiya Sangari, Coordinator – Quiz Club, Mrs. A. Rajeswari, Assistant Professor in Commerce also took part in that occasion.   More than 200 students from the various departments participated in that programme.
