Rajesh Kannan, District Liaison Officer, Anti-Drug Club, Namakkal, Mr. S. Sathishkumar, District Child Protection Officer, Namakkal, Mr. K.C. Arun, Designated Officer, Food Safety, Mr. M. Pugazhendi, Deputy Commissioner, Excise Duty, Mr. A.K. Murugan, Regional Transport Officer, Namakkal South, Mr. E.S. Murugesan, Regional Transport Officer, Namakkal North, Mr. A. Narasimmamani, Safety Trainer, Madurai, Dr. M. Govindaraju, Principal, Namakkal Kavignar Ramalingam Government Arts College for Women, Namakkal, Dr. N.P. Lalitha, Namakkal Tobacco Cell, Namakkal, Mr. N. Manikandan, Social Worker, District Child Protection Unit, Mrs. S. Archana, Psychologist, District Mental Health Programme, Namakkal and other officials participated in the meeting.
The District Collector denoted that illicit drugs are one such problem that causes hindrance to the growth of students. She also emphasizes the significance of prioritizing safety while traveling in any mode of transportation. Road Safety and its rules are very important for all citizens, she insisted.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women (Arts and Science), Namakkal, Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Assistant Professor in Mathematics and Coordinator, Anti-Drug Club, and Mrs. L. Deepika, Assistant Professor in English and Coordinator, Road Safety Club, took part.
