Free Medical Camp at UBA adopted village
The UBA Cell, in association with the National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross, and Red Ribbon Club of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, in support of Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal, Indian Medical Association, Namakkal, Inner Wheel Club, Namakkal and Rotary Club, Namakkal jointly conducted a one day free medical camp on 20th September 2024 (Friday). It was held in the UBA adopted village of Tholur, Mohanur Block, Namakkal District. Mr. P. Balasubramaniam, Vice-President, Tholur village inaugurated the medical camp. Dr.M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, presided over the programme. Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Coordinator, Silver Jubilee Celebrations Committee offered the felicitation address. Various General medical check ups like blood, sugar, eye, pressure, ECG, etc., were held. Dr. R. Sathiya, Medical Practitioner, Mrs. T. Selvakumari, Public Relations Officer and staff members of Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal took part. This programme was compiled by Dr. R. Navamani, Vice-Principal of the college. Mrs. S. Priya, Assistant Professor in Computer Science & UBA Representative of Aniyapuram village proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. D. Prabha, Assistant Professor in Computer Science & UBA village representative of Tholur made arrangements. Nearly 100 people in and around Tholur village benefited through this medical camp.
