Programme on Women Empowerment

            Women Empowerment Programme was held on 23^rd October 2024 in the campus of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal.  The event was organized by the National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Club, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell and Trinity Women’s Forum of the Institution. 

            The esteemed guest of honour was Mrs. G.K. Velumayil, Secretary/Sub Judge & Mrs. R.R. Revathi, Panel Advocate, District Legal Services Authority, Namakkal was the special invitee.   Both the resource persons gave an inspiring speech, focussed on women’s rights, duties, responsibilities, laws, emphasizing access to bank loans for economic development.  The chief guests shared valuable insights, fostering a comprehensive understanding of women’s growth and encouraging their holistic development.   Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Coordinator, Silver Jubilee Celebrations, Mrs. V Gokila, NSS Programme Officer (Unit 2), Dr. V. Kalaivani, Coordinator, Red Ribbon Club and Mrs. S. Hemalatha, Coordinator, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell of the College also participated in that programme.    More than 200 students benefited through that programme.
