Owing to former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Perarignar Anna’s birth anniversary, the department of Tamil, Namakkal district conducted a district level elocution competition on 24th October 2024 in the premises of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Namakkal South. Many students from various higher educational institutions in and around Namakkal district actively took part. In this regard, Ms. A. Shalini, first year B.Sc., Computer Science of our (Trinity College for Women, Namakkal) college spoke on the title of “Tamil Dream and Heritage” and she got the second prize & obtained a cheque for Rs. 3000/- (Rupees three thousand only) from the Director of Tamil Development, Chennai.
