Awareness Programme on “Cancer”

          Because of the world cancer day, The National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Club & Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, in association with “Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre”, 54, Dr. Sankaran Road, Namakkal, conducted an awareness programme titled “    “ on 04th February 2025.  It was held in the seminar hall.    

          Dr. Aruna Prabhu, Medical Practitioner, Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, 64, Dr. Sankaran Road, Namakkal, was the special invitee.   She talked in detail about different cancers that are common in India and also the most common errors amidst women and men in India. 

          Also, she addressed the students highlighting the significance of early diagnosis and treatment of cancer. 

          Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal inaugurated the programme.  Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Co-ordinator, Silver Jubilee Celebrations, The Programme Officers of NSS, Dr. M.Sasikala, Mrs. V. Gokila, the Programme Officer of RRC, Dr. S. Kalaivani, The Programme Officer of YRC, Mrs. V. Kalaivani and the Coordinator of UBA Cell, Mrs. S. Hemalatha, made arrangements.
