A pledge against drug abuse was administered to students in Namakkal District on Friday, August 11, 2023. At an event in Namakkal Government Medical College, Namakkal, the district collector, Dr. S. Uma administered the pledge against drug abuse to the students.

Participation of Students of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal

A pledge against drug abuse was administered to students in Namakkal District on Friday, August 11, 2023. At an event in Namakkal Government Medical College, Namakkal, the district collector, Dr. S. Uma administered the pledge against drug abuse to the students. The Collector, in which she instructed the students not to choose the path of drug addiction. 

Mr. C. Kalaichelvan, Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District;  Mr. S. Rajeshkannan, Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District, Mr. S. Satheeshkumar, District Children Protection Officer, Namakkal;  Mr. N. Murugesan, District backward classes and minority welfare Officer, Namakkal, Mr. L. Thirunandan, Assistant Commissioner of Law, Namakkal District, Mr. S. Satheeshkumar, District Child Protection Officer and Mrs. P.K. Sheela, District Employment Officer, Namakkal and more or less 1000 students took part in that anti-drug pledge. 

On behalf of Trinity College for Women, 72 students, along with the faculty members Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Coordinator of the Anti-Drug Club, and Mrs. V. Archana, Physical Director, participated in that district-level anti-drug pledge event.
