Discussion event on higher education opportunities in the UK
Alumni Forum in support of the postgraduate and research department of Commerce, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized a “Discussion event on higher education opportunities in the United Kingdom” on 21st June 2023. It was held in the place of ICT Hall, Department of Commerce of the College.
Ms. M. Santhiya (Alumni of the College, B.Com., 2017-2020 batch) and a bonafide student of M.Sc., Management, Coventry University, London, the United Kingdom, was the invited alumni.
In early times, foreign education was available only to a few students. Now, owing to globalization, our students are studying higher education abroad also. English is a global language; it is essentially needed for pursuing higher education in the United Kingdom. If we know how to speak and write fluently in English, we can achieve more at the global level, she said.
The faculty members of Commerce Dr. M. Sasikala (HOD), Mrs. G. Nithya, Dr. S. Devi, Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi, Mrs. M. Ramya, Mrs. K. Amutha, Mrs. G. Kokila and Mrs. A. Rajeswari and also more or less 100 students of Commerce took part in that discussion event.
