The Tamil Nadu Youth (Boys and Girls), Junior and Senior (Men and Women) weightlifting championship (2024-2025) was held from 09th August 2024 to 11th August 2024 in the venue of VIT University (Vellore Institute of Technology), Katpadi, Vellore. Many weightlifting players in and around Tamil Nadu state actively participated. Ms.S Bavadharani, first year B.A., Tamil of our College (Trinity College for Women, Namakkal), procured third place in the overall Tamil Nadu state. In continuation, a felicitation function was held on 13th August 2024 on the college campus. Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Coordinator, Silver Jubilee Celebrations Committee, Mrs. V. Archana and Dr. R. Savithri, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of undergraduate Tamil conveyed their best wishes to Ms. S. Bavadharani for her achievement.
