Free Eye Screening Camp
Free Vision Screening Camp was successfully conducted at the village of Vagurampatti (UBA adopted village) on 20th December 2024. The free check-up was conducted by the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, in association with Vasan Eye Care, Namakkal. Vasan Eye Care, Namakkal were the special invitees. Many people from the various places of Vagurampatti, Singilipatti, Ladduvadi, Vadakalapadur, Veppanam, Periyapatti, Maharishi Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar, etc., benefited through that eye camp. All the eye experts were given various guidance like identify potential issues, cataracts, glaucoma, refractive errors, etc.,
Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal , inaugurated the camp. Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuaprameswaran, Coordinator, Silver Jubilee Celebrations, Mrs. S. Hemalatha, Coordinator, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell and Dr. S. Revathy, Assistant Professor in Mathematics & UBA village representative of Vagurampatti also took part.
