Kolu celebrations
Kolu was celebrated at Trinity Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Trinity Nagar, Mohanur Road, Namakkal, with pomp and gaiety from 3rd October 2024 onwards. Dolls were arranged as per the tradition and religious faith and they sang hymns and recited slogans in praise of goddess Saraswathi, Lakshmi and Durga. During the nine – day festival, the school administrators distributed Prasatham along with sundal to the visitors. In this regard, On 09th October 2024, all the students and the faculty members of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal saw the Kolu and worshiped the Goddess Sri Saraswathi, Sri Lakshmi and Sri Durga in the school campus.
