FDP on Naan Mudhalvan
Under the auspices of Naan Mudhalvan, Periyar University, Salem conducted a one-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 16th December 2024 to 21st December 2024 for the benefit of faculty members of English, who have worked in the affiliated Arts and Science Colleges of Periyar University, Salem, in the districts of Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri.
The title of the FDP – “Overview of English Language for Communication”.
This programme’s overall coordinator – Dr. R. Ramesh, Assistant Professor in Physics, Periyar University, Salem.
The Periyar University Coordinators of Naan Mudhalvan were Dr. M. Suguna, Assistant Professor in Commerce, Dr. R. Devannan, Assistant Professor in Tamil, Dr. K. Sindhu, Assistant Professor in English, Dr. T. Sundararaj, Associate Professor in Zoology and Dr. M. Suryakumar, Assistant Professor in Management Studies.
Dr. R.M. Balasubramaniam, of Chennai, was the resource person for that one-week FDP programme.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, the faculty members of English, Mrs. A. Revathi and Ms. M.V. Mehavarshini, participated in that programme.
