Motivational Programme for the Plus 2 Students

On behalf of the Institution Innovation Council, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted an event titled “Higher Education Motivational Programme for Plus 2 Students” on November 20, 2023. It was held on the premises of the Government Higher Secondary School, Pappapatti, Thathiengarpet Block, Musiri Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, the Government Higher Secondary School, Kolakudi, Thottiyam Block, Thottiyam Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, and the Government Higher Secondary School, Thottiyam Block, Thottiyam Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District.

Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director-Academic; Mrs. R. Rupa, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics; and Mrs. K. Punitha, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, were the special speakers of that programme.

          Education creates gentlemanship.  You do not choose your higher studies based only on your job and salary. Even though student enrollment percentages in higher education are very low at the national level, Tamil Nadu state is leading in higher education enrolment, they denoted.

Apart from that, they explained the various higher study opportunities available in the fields of arts and science, engineering, polytechnic, medicine, agriculture, law, veterinary, textiles, food industry, etc. Besides that, they indicated the various entrepreneurship development activities and the role of financial institutions in providing loan assistance for entrepreneurship. Many students interestingly took part and clarified their doubts.

The faculty of the college, Ms. K.P. Theepika, Mrs. A.P. Pavithra, Mrs. R. Shanmugapriya, Ms. P. Sri Renuga Devi, and Mrs. V. Sowmiya, as well as the many teachers of the above-said schools, also took part in that programme.
