NUTRITION AND DIETETICS LABORATORY
LAB FACILITIES
College has well-equipped food and nutrition lab to provide practical knowledge of how to plan normal and therapeutic diet. The students are thought to plan the menu scientifically, based on the calorific value of the food materials. In physiology lab the students gain the basic knowledge of the different vital organs, glands and tissues under a microscope. In bio chemistry lab students learn practically about qualitative and quantitative analysis of biological fluids such as urine, blood and their estimation using standard methods.
FOOD AND NUTRITION LAB
In food and nutrition lab, student investigate the chemical, physical and biological properties of food ingredients. Students also develop a new food product as well as objective and subjective measures to evaluate its quality. Students also use this laboratory for modifying recipes to meet special dietary requirements for normal and disease condition.
