Observation of National Reading Day
On account of Celebration of National Reading Day ((19th June), The Department of Library conducted a programme on “Why book reading habits are essential for students”? (புத்தகம் வாசிக்கும் பழக்கம் மாணவர்களுக்கு ஏன் முக்கியம் வாய்ந்ததாக உள்ளது?) held on 19th June 2024 – (Wednesday) @ 2 PM in the Seminar hall.
Dr. R. Navamani, Vice Principal & Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science (UG), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person.
Dr. R. Navamani shared her views on the significance of reading books as it not only increases memory and brainpower but also improves our reading and writing skills. Dr. M. Selvi, Librarian and Mrs. P. Sathiya, Assistant Librarian of the College made arrangements. More or less 100 students took part in that occasion.
