Observation of world food day (16.10.2024) 

            On account of International Food Day, The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell and Youth Red Cross, in support of the department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a programme on “If there is no food for a single person, than we can destroy the whole universe” (‘தனி ஒருவனுக்கு உணவு இல்லையெனில் ஜெகத்தினை அழித்திடுவோம்’) on 16th October 2024.  

 In this regard, Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, Assistant Professor in Nutrition and Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person.    “Right to food for a better life and a better future”, we should produce quality agricultural food products.   Unfortunately, as climate change continues to impact agricultural production.   We should focus on the production of good quality and quantity of agricultural food products for our people, she noted.   The volunteers of UBA Cell, YRC and the students of Nutrition and Dietetics participated.
