Observation of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas – National Unity Day
On account of National Unity Day – Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (31st October 2024), the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell and National Service Scheme, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, celebrated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. This programme was held on 28th October 2024 in the ICT Hall, Department of Computer Science.
Mrs. S. Priya, Assistant Professor in Computer Science and TCW –Newsletter Editorial Board Associate, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person.
She delivered a lecture titled “Iron Man – Sardar Vallabhai Patel – Contribution to India’s Integration” on 29.10.2024. The aim of celebrating this day is to spread the message of unity, safety and security.
Sardar Vallabhai Patel was a great leader who played an instrumental role in India’s struggle for independence. He did a commendable job of uniting these states with the Union of India, she said.
Dr. M. Sasikala and Mrs. V. Gokila, NSS Programme Officers and Mrs. S. Hemalatha, Coordinator, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell and the volunteers of NSS & UBA Cell, made arrangements.
