Online Quiz Programme on “Road Safety”
On account of Road Safety Month (15th January 2024 to 14th February 2024), The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, in collaboration with My Government organized an online quiz event titled “Road Safety” in the first week of January 2024. The main aim of the programme, to encourage the student community, to make proactive contributions to the safer road environment. They have to give the answers for 10 questions within 300 seconds. More than 500 faculty and students of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal have actively participated in that online event and they got the E-Certificate. This online quiz questions consists of demerits of drunken driving, follow up the traffic rules, wearing of seat belts and helmets, rule of free passage for ambulance and fire vehicles, rule of signal colours like orange, red and green, etc.,
In continuation, a felicitation function was held on 02nd February 2024 in the College campus. Mr. A.K.Murugan, Regional Transport Officer, Namakkal South and Mrs. M. Umamaheswari, Vehicle Inspector, Namakkal South took part in that function and they appreciated all the participants who participated in that online event. Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic, Dr. A. Latha, Programme Officer, Quiz Club, Dr. S. Devi, Adjacent, Citizen Consumer Club, Mrs. K. Mekala, AP in Computer Science, Dr.C. Gobiya, Dr. R.A. Anitha, faculty of Tamil and some of the students took part in that programme.
