Observation of international computer literacy day
On account of world computer literacy day (02nd December), the department of Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted a programme titled “Why do we need digital skills for a digital world?” on 02nd December 2024. This programme was held through the virtual mode of Google Meet.
Dr. N. Elamathi, Assistant Professor and Head, Postgraduate Department of Computer Science & Coordinator – Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the resource person.
Information Technology has become an integral part of our life. Computers play an important role in all fields. During the COVID 19, Computer’s role was very significant for all learners. Especially, virtual online sources like Microsoft teams, skype, zoom, webex meeting, zoho meeting, Gotomeet, etc., were very useful and helpful for all the people, including students also, she denoted.
100 students and the faculty members of the College actively took part.
