New Voters Awareness Camp
On behalf of Electoral Literacy Forum (வாக்காளர் விழிப்புணர்வு மையம்) of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, new voters’ enrollment camp was held in the college premises on 02.12.2022.
Mr. C. Sakthivel, Tahsildhar, Namakkal Taluk was the special invitee. He highlighted the importance of votes for all the elections like Parliament, Assembly and Local Body. Mr. K. Prakash, Revenue Inspector (Election), Namakkal explained how to fill up the form No – 6 for new voters. Students of Trinity College for Women, who have completed the age of 18 (born on or before 31.12.2004) were took part with the documents of form 6, a copy of Aadhar Card, a copy of SSLC/H.Sc., Mark sheet/Transfer Certificate (For Date of Birth Proof) and the recent passport color photographs. More than 60 students in the assembly constituencies of Namakkal, Rasipuram, Tiruchengode, Paramathi-Velur, Sendamangalam, Musiri, Thuraiyur, Karur, Krishnarayapuram and Aravakurichi benefited through this camp.
Mr. P.K. Sengodan, Chairman, Er. K. Nallusamy, Secretary, Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic, Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer and Dr.R.A. Anitha, Coordinator, Electoral Literacy Club of the College also participated in that programme.
