Consumer Awareness Program on “Consumer Protection and Road Safety”

In recent times, we have seen an alarming rise in road fatalities, particularly among our youth who have been affected by road accidents. Owing to the reasons of rash driving, not wearing helmets and seat belts, non-maintaining vehicles, damage of roads, the driver’s negligence, and the absence of rules and regulations of the road safety, many road accidents are occurring day by day. We must give priority to road safety, Mr. A.K. Murugan, denoted.

Mrs. M. Umamaheswari highlighted the significance of road safety rules.

Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director- Academic of the College, welcomed the gathering. Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, presided over the program.

Dr. S. Devi, Coordinator of Citizen Consumer Club, proposed the vote of thanks. More than 200 students benefited from this program
