EPF and ESI Awareness Programme:-
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross and Red Ribbon Club conducted a one-day workshop titled “An overview of employees’ provident fund and employees’ state Insurance” for the benefit of faculty members and non-teaching staff members on 14th September 2024.
Mr. M. Saravanan, PF/ESI Auditor and Consultant, 4/66, Indira Nagar, Trichy Road, Namakkal was the resource person.
` Dr M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of the College welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest.
Mr. M. Saravanan, explained the creation of universal account numbers, how to access a provident account?, responsibility of the account holder, benefits of provident fund contribution, usage of PAN & Aadhar numbers, Provident Fund Zone Transfer, Etc.,
Also, he emphasised the importance of the ESI scheme and highlighted the key aspects of the ESI scheme. In addition, he outlined various cash benefits including wage compensation, during sickness, employment injury, disablement, maternity and death in the course of employment, etc.,
Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Coordinator, Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the college, proposed the vote of thanks. More than 80 staff members took part.
