The Pudumai Pen scheme was initiated with the objective of enhancing the higher education enrolment rate of female students who completed schooling in government schools. In this regard, the government of Tamil Nadu is providing financial assistance of Rs. 1000 per month for these eligible students. Female education is very important to our society. For a woman to be equal to men, she must be educated. On this subject, the Pudumai Pen Scheme was introduced under the name of the Muvalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Memorial Higher Education Assurance Scheme. This scholarship was introduced at our college. For the past 3 years, many students have benefited from this Pudumai Pen Scheme.
