The Red Ribbon Club of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a webinar event in the title of “We are born to achieve (Motivational Programme)” (நாம் சாதிக்க பிறந்தோம்) on 27th May 2021. Kalaimamani / Tamil Chemmal Awardee Dr Arasuparameswaran, Director Academic of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal was the special invitee.
All people want to be successful but only a few can achieve it. It comes only by hard work, time management and perseverance. Success is not something that we can copy from others. We have to make our own path to achieving success, he spoke. Commitment, an open mind, persistence, flexibility, faith, passion and thankfulness are very important for our success, he stressed.

Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society, Chennai organized a state level online quiz competitions for the benefit of volunteers of Red Ribbon Club of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal on 29.12.2021 from 3 PM to 3.45 PM. The topics like HIV/AIDS (Human Immuno Virus/Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) Awaremess, STI (Sexually Transmitted Diseases),, EMTCT (Elimination of Mother to Child Transmission), voluntary Blood Donation, TB, COVID 19 and other services of TANSAC, Adolescent Health, Public Health, Etc.,
Mrs. V. Gokila, RRC Programme Officer and nearly 50 students of Red Ribbon Club took part in that online quiz event. All the participants are greeted by the Chairman, Secretary, Principal, Director – Academic, HOD’s and the faculty members of the College.

2nd Phase of COVID 19 Vaccination Camp:- (23.10.2021)
2nd phase of COVID – 19 vaccination camp was held in our College campus on 23rd October 2021. This vaccination camp was organized by the National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross & Red Ribbon Club of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal and Primary Health Centre, Konur, Namakkal District.
Mr. P.K. Sengodan, Chairman of the College, presided over the camp. Er. K. Nallusamy, Secretary & Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic offered his felicitation address. Dr M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal delivered the welcome address. More than 150 students of our College were vaccinated (Both Covishield & Covaxin) in that camp.

Handloom Sari Exhibition cum sale – 12.10.21
Because of upliftment of livelihood of handloom weavers of M/s. Ramalinga Samundeeswari Cooperative Society, Sekkapatti, Chinnalapatti, Dindigul District, our College NSS, YRC and RRC organized a programme titled “Sari Exhibition cum Sale” on 12.10.2021. Mr. A. Muthu, staff of M/s. Ramalinga Samundeeswari Cooperative Society, Chinnalapatti have installed a stall in our college campus and sold their handloom saris. Our staff and students of our College eagerly purchased these saris for the upcoming Deepawali festival (4th November 2021).

The third Mega COVID 19 vaccination camp was held in the premises of Trinity College for Women (Arts and Science), Namakkal on 12th November 2021. It was held through the method of Mobile Camp. This vaccination camp was conducted by the Primary Health Centre, Ernapuram and NSS, RRC & YRC of the College. Dr. B. Balasarathi, Medical Officer, Mr. J. Jayakannan, Health Inspector and Mrs. Mohana, Sub staffm Ernapuram – Primary Health Centre took part in that mega camp.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of the College welcomed the gathering.

Fourth dose of COVID 19 vaccine camp was held at the campus of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal on 18.11.2021. This mobile vaccine camp was conducted by the organizations of NSS, YRC & RRC and the Primary Health Centre of Konur and Ernapuram, Namakkal District.

Trinity College for Women, Namakkal – NSS, YRC and RRC jointly organized a offline event in the title of “Track into the Media ((ஊடகத்துறையிலும் தடம் பதிக்கலாம்) on 24th December 2021.
On this subject, Mr. M Duraisamy, Reporter, Puthiya Thalaimurai Television Networks, Namakkal District was the special invitee.
Media is one of the most powerful tools to educate people and even bring about behavioral changes. The Indian media industry has been growing rapidly for the past three decades. A lot of job opportunities available in the industry of media and journalism. But, we need excellent communication skills, especially language translation skills, both written and spoken, he denoted.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that on February 09 observed as Bonded Labour System Abolition (கொத்தடிமை தொழிலாளர் முறை ஒழிப்பு தினம்). In this regard, 100 volunteers of National Service Scheme, Youth Red Cross and Red Ribbon Club of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal participated in this pledge event held on 9th February 2022.
Dr. R. Savithri, YRC Programme Officer of the College delivered the welcome address. Mrs. V. Gokila, Programme Officer, Red Ribbon Club of the College administered the pledge against the bonded labour system. Dr. M. Sasikala, NSS Programme Officer (Unit 1) spoke on how the dominance of man in this issue and the role of each and every one of us in fighting bonded labour. Mrs. S. Jayamathi, NSS Programme Officer (Unit 2) proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic, Mrs. V. Archana, Director of Physical Education and Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer, attended that oath event.

Because of Azadi Ka amrit Mahotsav – 75th Independence Day Celebrations of India, this event was organized.
M/s. Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society organized a 3 day Namakkal District Level Online Quiz Competitions (For students of Red Ribbon Club across 14 priority districts in Tamil Nadu state) from 27th January 2022 to 29th January 2022. Because of Azadi Ka amrit Mahotsav – 75th Independence Day Celebrations of India, this event was organized.
The title of this New India @ 75 (phase 2 campaign) online quiz contest was “HIV Awareness- Blood Donation – Tuberculosis”.
More than 200 participants in and around Namakkal district took part. In this regard, 77 volunteers of RRC of our College took part. The following participants of our College have obtained top three positions in the quiz competition of HIV Awareness, Blood Donation and Tuberculosis held from 27th January 2022 to 29th January 2022.

Red Ribbon Club of Periyar University, Salem
The Red Ribbon Club of Periyar University, Salem organized a one day RRC Programme Officers and Peer Leaders Training Programme on 10th March 2022. It was held in the premises of Senate Hall, PRIDE Building, Periyar University, Salem. Dr. M. Jayaprakash, Zonal Coordinator, RRC, Periyar University, Salem delivered the welcome address.
