Industrial visit for the students of Nutrition and Dietetics & Costume Design and Fashion
Six faculty members, along with 34 students of Costume Design & Fashion, and Nutrition & Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, went to Ooty on February 28, 2024, for an industrial visit cum excursion. They have seen the various places in Ooty like Nilgiri Mountain Railway, Emerald Lake, Rose Garden, Ooty Lake, Botanical Garden, Kamaraj Sagar Dam, Mudumalai National Park, Stone House, Pykara Water Falls, Kalhatty Waterfalls, Doddabetta Peak, The Tea Factory, Tea Museum, Stone House, and many others. Mrs. R. Rupa, AP and HOD of Nutrition and Dietetics; the faculty of this department, Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi and Mrs. V. Sowmiya; and the faculty of Costume Design and Fashion, Mrs. K. Punitha (AP and HOD of CDF); the faculty of this department Ms. K.P. Theepika and Mrs. A.P. Pavithra, were the guardians for these students.
In addition, all the above-mentioned faculty members and students of the Nutrition & Dietetics Department visited the M/s. Sri Shakthi Food Testing Laboratory, Vellakinar Pirivu, Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore on that day (February 28, 2024). They have seen the laboratories of the analytical lab, microbiological lab, spectroscopy lab, chromatography lab, WET lab, and FUME Hood.
