Special Awareness Camp about “Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammayar Higher Education Assurance Scheme”
· A special awareness camp for the enrolment of girl students, who studied in Government Schools from class 6 to 12, in the Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme, this camp was held on 26.08.2022 in the College campus. . The scheme aims to decrease the financial burden of the girl students who are pursuing higher education by depositing a sum of Rs 1000 in their bank accounts every month.
In this regard, Mrs. S. Kannika, Extension Officer and Mrs. K. Myli, Rural Welfare Officer, Department of Social Welfare Department, Namakkal District Spoke the importance of this scheme.
Also, they advised students to open Savings Bank accounts in the nationalised banks of State Bank of India, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank and Indian Bank.
This camp was organized by the National Service Scheme, Trinity College for Women and Department of Social Welfare, Namakkal District. Mrs. R. Navamani, President, Alumni Forum, The NSS Programme Officers Dr M. Sasikala and Mrs. S. Jayamathi made arrangements.
