Alumni Meet: January 12th, 2024
The Alumni Forum, with the support of the Postgraduate Research Department of Commerce, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organised “Alumni Meet” (a unit beyond the degree) on January 12th, 2024, on the college campus.
Mrs. R. Navamani, President, Alumni Forum & Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science (UG), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal presided over the programme.
Dr. M. Sasikala, Secretary of the Alumni Forum, Assistant Professor and Head, Postgraduate Research Department of Commerce of the College, and senate member, Periyar University, Salem, delivered the welcome address. She ignited the room with a warm talk that motivated the alumni to have a closer relationship with their alma mater.
Mrs. P. Ramaya, Alumnus (B.Com., 2007-2010 Batch), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, and Vocational Trainer, Government Girls Higher Secondary School. Namakkal was the special invitee. She gave a motivational speech to the students. She shared her experience in the recruitment of a government teaching job at Government Girls Higher Secondary School.
College life is very special for each and every student. Opportunities are unlimited. Hard work, dedication, and proper training are needed for the placement of government jobs, she said.
Mrs. G. Nithya, Alumni, Trinity College for Women, and Assistant Professor in Commerce of our College, proposed the vote of thanks. More than 150 students of commerce took part.
The faculty and the alumni of the college, Mrs. P. Sathiya, Mrs. V. Gayathri, Ms. L. Keerthi, Ms. P. Madhupriya, and P. Dhanushya, also spoke on that occasion.
