Drug Awareness Programme
The Anti-Drug Club, in association with the National Service Scheme, conducted an awareness programme titled “Impacts of drug usage and drug addiction” on 20.03.2025.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, presided over the programme.
Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Coordinator – Silver Jubilee Celebrations offered the felicitation address.
Mr. M. Sathish Kumar, Life Skill Trainer, Wisdom Foundation, No 1, Rail Nagar, Maharaja Nagar, Tirunelveli, was the resource person. He discussed various aspects of drug abuse indicating prevention and how to seek professional help. An educational video on the significance of preventing substance abuse was also screened for the student participants through the PowerPoint presentation.
Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Coordinator – Anti Drug Club, The NSS Programme Officers, Dr. M. Sasikala and Mrs. V. Gokila made arrangements. More than 250 students participated in that programme.
