Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme
The Anti-Ragging Monetary Cell of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted an awareness programme entitled “To Avoid Ragging and Create a Friendship” (பகடிவதையை விலக்குவோம் – நட்பினை உருவாக்குவோம்) on September 8, 2023.
Mrs. R. Navamani, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of UG Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, was the resource person.
She delivered an anti-ragging awareness talk for the students, elucidating about the anti-ragging act given by both the central and state governments and statutory bodies. And also, she denoted the anti-ragging mechanism in higher educational institutions, which is monitored by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, and the Periyar University, Salem. Many students from all the courses took part.
Mrs. M. Malathi, coordinator of the anti-ragging monitoring cell and assistant professor in computer science at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, made the arrangements.
