Consumer Awareness Programme
The Citizen Consumer Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted an awareness program on 24th October 2024 on the college campus. Mrs. K. Punitha, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, was the resource person, and she delivered the topic titled “Attitude and perception of women consumers on cosmetic products.” Cosmetics are one of the elements that can bring attention to an individual, especially females. However, many of the cosmetic products are prepared with chemicals. Many women consumers have been affected by these chemical cosmetic goods. Every consumer should know about the rights, duties, and responsibilities of consumer rights, she said. Dr. S. Devi, Coordinator, Citizen Consumer Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, made arrangements. Many students have actively taken part in that programme.
